After that, he went in-house and worked with such prominent listed companies as China Everbright Holding Ltd., Phoenix Satellite TV, Hong Kong TV in different roles of counsel, head of legal and/or company secretary etc. In the last 10 years, he has been mainly focused on the law and commercial practice relating to cross-border M&A, corporate finance and listing compliance while helping Chinese enterprises acquire strategic assets overseas. In recent years, his interests extend to highly complex Australia immigration cases, particularly those involving high net worth individuals and families from China applying for business and investment visas to Australia. He has leveraged on his wealth of legal experience and expertise to guide these applicants through the minefield of immigration requirements, and incidentally, assisting them to make international fund/asset transfer, relocation and restructuring, investing and setting up businesses in Australia, acquiring substantial assets in Australia.

He derives tremendous satisfaction in handling complex immigration cases from not only monetary rewards but also seeing his clients moving to and settling in two of the most vibrant places in the world, where he has grown up, been educated and developed his career in.
